Wow, getting cancelled for not delaying final exams on a race-by-race basis is flat-out insane. Really a sad sign to see what's happening to the modern campus.
It's a shame. It seems impossible to teach anything controversial or challenging. I remember taking an amazing course called "Superior Man and Mass Society" in undergrad (Nietzsche, Ortega y Gasset, etc.)...that old prof would be cancelled in a minute now!

On campus, the upheaval of the 1960s wasn't about Vietnam--it was about winning self-governance from state and trustee oversight. Self-governing, unaccountable institutions are inevitably taken over by co-opting factions with self-serving agendas. It was just a matter of time.

Consider Evergreen State College--the president and administration have driven it into complete collapse, yet continue in their posts, free to complete its looting and destruction. And it's a state college, theoretically subject to state gov't oversight. Imagine private ones...
