  Chris, wondering if I'm hearing you correctly: are you calling out ostensible hypocrisy of why someone would espouse quarantining to stem the spread of coronavirus on the basis of science, but then encourage others to protest, in the face of the same risk of spread?

  The notion that medical experts said to never leave home but now hypocritically endorse mass gatherings is a straw man. Social distancing has always been the message. Civic engagement is as essential as essential gets. The distinction will be even more important come November.
