I keep seeing this meme going around asking why the police response to the lockdown protests was not as pronounced as the response to the Floyd protests, as if those who push it out can’t see the broken glass, overturned cars, bloodied assault victims, and smoldering buildings.
Exactly. The police response scales in proportion to the violence and destruction of protests. It takes extreme ideological blinders to not understand this.
