It has demonstrated the ability to assert itself as the dominant street power in Portland, Oregon, a non-trivially-sized city. It is definitely larger in numbers than its corresponding white supremacist groups.

In fairness, that power is essentially granted by Portland's municipal administration, which has for political reasons decided to give Antifa free rein in the city. If they ever decided to crack down, they'd have little trouble dismantling it there.
