I think the first time I agree with Musk in about a decade.. this is good pushback from local government overreach.
Yeah, exactly. I've been Musk agnostic, but he has become an increasingly interesting cultural figure. There is no other CEO in America that has the stones to violate an order like this. My bet: Alameda County will try to save face, but will end up caving in.

hope so... because I think reasonable push-back is in order. This is more about starting up production at an auto plant, it's about civil liberties too. Who gives Alameda County (or any local jurisdiction) the right to deny basic freedoms and property rights?
