Very local. Seattle, Inventory is way off from prior years people not listing. Buyers able to shop with limitations. # under contract and closings is in line with inventory. Stuff is still selling, little to zero change in pricing as of now. Expect a SOLID summer market

Friend of mine was looking the weekend before lockdowns started in IL and said that homes were going off market with accepted offers. No clue on accepted prices.

Seattle strangely strong. Last weekend “open house” saw 30 potential buyers walk through. (Separate times. Maintaining social distances) multiple offers still coming in.
-
Wow, that's a surprise.

1) I am closing on a house in Tahoe. Put an offer in on Feb 20 but delayed escrow a bit to feel out the market. Old inventory dropped on price 10-15% while lockdown ongoing. Not much new inventory at all (April is prime listing season in Tahoe).
-
2) I was able to negotiate price significantly downward and obtain a 2.9 interest rate over 30 years.
