#COVID19Pandemic should finally bury globalist mantras. Capital & manufacturing are not “global” or “transnational” — they very much retain national origin & can be leveraged in crisis. Just watch what the Chinese communist regime has been doing allocating supplies.

That’s a different point Michael. You are right that we need to create what I call “regional supply chains with redundancies built in.” But this is not “more globalization” - on the contrary, it’s breaking CCP’s stranglehold on our economies.

Yes, this is the right direction. We should rapidly build up capacity in India and Southeast Asia to hedge against future problems with China.
