As of today, the state of WA is replacing all volunteers at the my local food bank with National Guard. I have extremely mixed feelings about this b/c it was a great and safe way to help & now the National Guard are doing work we could be doing instead of other important things

I think overall it's good that they're engaged. Would love to see a wider mobilization to build facilities, coordinate logistics, and provide support for local law enforcement and first responders.
