today, we're going to have to let her go, till this crisis passes. Am going to give her some extra money, bec I imagine she will be out of work soon, as everybody cancels this service. I think about the store clerks, the baristas, all these people who aren't making much 2/

Don't let the cleaning lady go! Just make sure she doesn't have a cough, washes her hands, and disinfects the surfaces. Probably less risk of coronavirus overall!

Believe me, we are looking into any way to keep her. But she told us two weeks ago that at the maid service, they have been talking abt how they are all on the front lines, going into so many houses daily.

Good point. It's gotten rough here in Seattle. Hundreds of restaurants have either closed indefinitely or gone out of business altogether. Friend of mine says her business is down 85% and she has 30 days before she goes bust.
