Their argument appears to be "everything is going great," but doesn't our political moment, with Trump and Sanders taking over the old parties, signal deep discontent? "But you can buy a great minivan at a time-cost discount!" doesn't seem like a strong argument.

Immediately inferring he must have some axe to grind says a lot about where they are at. Whether they realize or not, it’s like they’re shying away from the real question because it makes them uncomfortable rather than something based in fact.
