I’d assert that the majority have substance abuse issues. Rare to suffer an economic setback & have no support system from which to draw assistance. People don’t miss rent, & start shooting up. It’s generally the other way around. Addicts tend to alienate their support systems.
Agreed. I think these figures probably understate the problem, mostly because of how the raw survey questions are written.
