There's a fair amount of responsibility the press plays for which policies end up getting public support, which stories get pushed, and how candidates and representatives are portrayed. Hate to see anyone out of work, however.

Yes, five years ago, I saw the writing on the wall in California and fled to Washington State. It's much better up here, but unfortunately, our progressive legislators seem to think California has the right ideas.
