Great piece, but it's not a "false statement" to say "they find it totally appropriate to pay for a transgender stripper to grind on members of the region's homelessness nonprofits and taxpayer-funded organizations.”

Regardless of whether or not Ms. St. James was paid a fee, the public paid for the venue, amenities, and staff time, all of which were necessary for the performance in question.
