Don't me wrong: Williamson would be a terrible president for those reasons (and others). I'm simply pointing out that she has—to my surprise—made a few great points during her campaign.
I lived in her district in Los Angeles when she was running for Congress, so I know her backstory and her community was strong in my neighborhood in Topanga. Many of her followers are completely bonkers. :)

Unfortunately, this is the pattern that got Trump elected. Cover the character and a few catch phrases without focusing on the disturbing aspects of the candidate. And then, by the time the cult-of-personality has been built, the troubling backstory is irrelevant.
