Again, if that meme-complex is not about unconditioning, the unconditional, etc, (even without naming it constantly) the its about nothing, really. “Letting go” of the conditions of U/acc means it’s just base accelerationism. Which, in that case, is complicitness with anon forces

'complicitness with anon forces' sounds cool. Let's do that or let oursevles be done by that.

“Uncontrollable”, “impossible”, etc, etc. I get it it. Let go of the politicalization of it. My disagreements are not for lack of understanding, as xenobuddhist suggests, but based on the objection to anything that dampens the capacity of sentience to “intervene” in causal flows

It's not an objection to things THAT dampen. It's an objection that to the suggestion that it *can be* dampened (though clearly one can operate within that space, though the trap of that is that one is only going to fall in deeper)

No. I’m actually more interested in the things that dampen. That any individual sentience is a low grade hum relatively easiler stomped out is without question. We’re idiots, also. I’m opposed to discourses THAT seek to dampen - at the expense of a certain structure of care.

If one can intervene in the flows enough to dampen their cyberpositive propulsion without falling into the circuit that actually reinforces it, then it needs to be demonstrated instead of declared

“Terrorism”, or blowback or black opts teams, or... are clustered intervening agencies affecting outcomes at much larger scales than at which they operate. There are many examples of demonstrated glitches in the machines.

The question is how successful such actors are at creating scenarios that aren't simply routed around.

Yeah. That is precisely the question. Can clustered agencies affect the circuits enough to sway broader tendencies? I say yes. Y’all say “nay, let that shit go man.” That to me is thanatological path. Prometheus at least had guts.

Ha! What about promethean mutationism (with continuity)? Which is where I’m at. Fuck modernity. Was a temp stop long on much creepier journey.

tbh the creepy journey of promethean mutationism is exactly how I would describe modernity/the accelerative process!

Take the Area X story for example. One crack in reality, one external glitch in the smooth systems of modernity, or one agental force from the Outside changed/mutated the whole trajectory of human history. That’s whole point of being ontologically exposed to/within the Outside.

What you're describing here is *exactly* how I understand the process. Also I'm noting the irony of invoking a mutational extinction story...

I know how nuanced your position is Ed. Do all your brethren share your mutationist stance? Does u/acc as a set of thematic operators support the notion that some patchworks might include agents of sapience continuity in some human recognizable form? I doubt it.
