The most charitable interpretation, which I think is what Justin was saying, is that he liked "#cavetwitter" whilst quickly scrolling through and didn't see what it was replying to. I may be reading him wrong but seems plausible.

i don’t feel charitable when people are harassing my girlfriend. JM should read and like things in context, and if he’s incapable of that, he should at least understand that others will do the same

Yes you're perfectly welcome to try to interpret things in context, as I said. Given that Twitter is 98% algorithmic deception (including the humans on here), my personal view is that "reading things in context" is over. But go for it. I'm playing a different game.
