The teachers of WV, KY, & OK are confused. They have convinced themselves (or have been convinced) that they have a moral or professional duty to the children in these states. They don't and this belief is why they find themselves royally fucked.
The good teachers should pack up their things and move to better states. Let these states die off with their idiot teachers teaching their idiot students. Disasterous rural education will accelerate the move to cities by the intelligent.
Rural areas will continue to die off. Things will, of course, be lost but history is the history of that loss (or it would be if anyone remembered the superstitions of the disappeared). Let's get on with it.
