I may not like Cline too much (reading his quotes feels like stale cheese) and I haven't yet read "Ready Player One" (I heard it's like 50 shades but +computer games ^_^) but people being upset about him and his tremendous success gives me 100 shades of second hand schadenfreude
It's a young adult novel for grown men who haven't grown up yet. But it has garnered more hate than it deserves. It's not good or great, but incredibly tremendously average. Nothing more or less than that. It is embarrassing that Spielberg is directing, tho not sure for who.
