Kant is great. The categorical imperative is cool, if wrong. Morality on the basis of logic is a novel approach.

You're approaching it wrong. Tell your Prof that the three movements of the CI are simply a remapping of the Trinity. God - law; Jesus - dignity; holy spirit - kingdom of ends. He/she will be impressed and let you go home for the day.
