look, if I still engage the r/acc crew is because I think you are intelligent people with lots of knowledge. my quibble with this kind of psychoanalytic babble is that it doesn't live up to the expectations.

we're are putting out the u/acc investigation results out there pretty much constantly, so it's easy to objectify and attack it based on ad hominem arguments. but it doesn't make this kind of argument any more compelling.

if there's an actual critique of u/acc as u/acc (rather than a polemic against specific empirical avatars), then put it out there (hence the call for the r/acc primer).

Then engage with the critique of 'antipraxis'.

I have so far, I'm just getting suspicious of the relentless misreading of the whole thing.

A good start would be to stop attributing petty motivations to a theory. But that seems to be the whole tamale.

This is like complaining that any critique of Lenninism’s false party democracy is an ad hom, it can seem like that, but on the other hand it is part of Lenninism philosophically

The problem is that the "they are all just academics in Cathedral army" is just bullshit and rests largely on Vince's position. It would be roughly equivalent if my only criticism of r/acc was that it was generated by minds the art world told to fuck off...
