Hey, everybody the foreword from 'The Neurotic Turn' from @RepeaterBooks has been posted on its website. Interesting read. Calls Land's contribution 'refreshingly profound.' Except the joke of a publisher removed it from the volume. http://www.theneuroticturn.com/foreword/4593731616 … pic.twitter.com/9PHO2GWTN5

Any process that allows that Harman piece in and eliminates the 'refreshingly profound' essay by Land should not be held up as exemplary. I thought you guys were supposed to provide a space for the sidelined. Apparently in 2017 being boring as fuck is new radical.

We want to promote marginalised ideas that we think worthwhile/useful. To publish work solely because it's marginalised would be ridiculous. & being 'edgy' is not the same as being radical.

The joke continues. So you don't think Land's essay is 'worthwhile/useful'? Or are you just afraid to say that one set of thoughts (political) don't invalidate another. You decide to do this every time you publish authors on Heideggerian, Blanchot, Levinas etc.

It's just Land where you make this decision. And it makes you look childish and unworthy of consideration.

I can assure you there are many other authors we choose not to publish too.

Quick inquiry: Is it Repeater policy to commission a piece from, then proceed to post an introduction online which references to that piece AFTER you've decided to exclude it on the basis of some hand-wringing purity test? Asking for a friend.
