The slavers started the war and invaded the North. They lost & invented fascism in the form of the klan to keep the price of labor-power low

your bad faith is striking. I suppose its required if you're going to hold the north to an impossible standard and the south to none at all

the North destroyed its morally superior society through the mistake of annexation. by their own standards, they are to be held responsible

anyway, I guess the main point has already been granted: freeing the slaves was perfectly compatible with secession.
