The "aggressors" were the allies in WWI and the Bolsheviks and allies in WWII. You don't forcibly split another peoples nations apart and not expect them to retaliate, especially when you hand their lands to enemy nations

Doesn't matter, it was still a communist uprising that led to the creation of Weimar Republic and removal of the Kaiser, something the average German never supported
