Yeah, this is what I do. Call up and give them the number of a pharmacy where you’re going.
Diabetic here. When such occasions have arrived I called my doctor's nurse line and they called it in at a different pharmacy.

i think i got it sorted. my problem is i don't actually have a primary physician right now because i was using the student health facility, and since graduating i can't use their services anymore. complicated but i think i got a refill. thanks guys

Glad you got it sorted. That shit is always complicated but in my experience being out of town is an excuse that’s taken seriously and dealt with quickly across the board. Good to use at other times like if there’s a bureaucracy fuck up and you need a work around.
