correspondence was to be primitive accumulation for capital via the Soviet industrial drive, which is a perhaps bitter confirmation of the 'harder' bits of Marx's analysis (and wholly in keeping with D&G's own assessment)
Do you believe human subjectivity is a universal quality, unchanged through human history?

Oh no. First of all it is not an “it” at all. Subjectivity is generated by sensitive bodies in context and entangled in eco-historical forces. So change is inherent to its nature. Habitus and structural dynamics do form. I always enjoyed Foucault’s notion of epistemes.

sensitive bodies = generically determined, a species ?
-
Oh for sure. Species-being (Marx). Phylogenetic developments and ontogenetic variations. Dispersed by relatively constrained cognitive range. Anthropos as population assemblages.
