Article 4 Section 4 of the US Constitution gives the President the directive to act with out congress and put troops on the border. It says, THE FEDS SHALL PROTECT THE STATES FROM INVASIONS. Pretty damn simple life saving concept to understand. Even for Chucky Cheese Schumer, lol

Sorry, Cory, don't ya worry: immigrants coming to this country is hardly an invasion. Or you could say, tho whole of human history on the American continents is about one invasion after another, beginning almost 20,000 years ago and especially from 1492 to the early 2000's.

Sigh...DACA is for those who were brought here as children... they had no choice in that matter. They have lived their entire lives here, this is their country, the only one they know. They are a group of admirable young people that we are lucky to have in this country.

I don't disagree, but there are examples of those who are less than desirable, so they each must be judged on their individual merit. Agree it's not their fault they were brought here, but that still does not make them a citizen. Obama's EO was a stop gap, not a solution.

Then get your GOP politicians to finally agree to immigration reform so they can become legal citizens! They’ve had decades to do this and won’t get it done!!

They've had decades to apply for legal citizenship status and get in line too... they want it handed to them. Don't blame politicians or conservatives because they aren't citizens.

Applying for citizenship is not as easy as you think. Ask anyone who has a green card and they'll tell you.

I live in Texas, know 100's with green cards. If they have a green card, they aren't illegal... at least they are doing it right.
