Mexico is extremely aggressive in policing their southern border. Do some fact-checking. It will probably help your decision making.
Mexico is doing very little, if not NOTHING, at stopping people from flowing into Mexico through their Southern Border, and then into the U.S. They laugh at our dumb immigration laws. They must stop the big drug and people flows, or I will stop their cash cow, NAFTA. NEED WALL!

Mr President , call pres of Mexico and tell him if he does not stop caravan you will use executive order and cut off all individuals wiring money to Mexico, their largest source of currency or tax it at 50%. And use funds to build the wall .

Then America should be responsible for stopping the flow of guns and drug money into Mexico, should they not? America is the market place that drives the violent turf wars in Mexico.

All you have to do is to make Mexico pay for your wall as you had promised to do so thousands of times on national TV. Deliver your promise. Then you sit in your Oval Office and see whether the drug flow will stop. Good luck!

As a former resident of Texas I can tell you the problem is not there. The problem is with the pharmaceutics. They caused us the opiate crisis. Sounds like Donald took a little too much Xanax at Easter dinner.
