Our President is correct! We as a country cannot tolerate this type of steel dumping in the U.S. There's no way to compete! In 1970 our overall trade deficit was 4 billion per yr. Now w/our current overall U.S. deficits at 800 billion per yr! Time to get on a level playing field!

A misleading statement. Remember, Trade = Goods AND Services. America has a Trade SURPLUS in Services with Canada. This SURPLUS is far Greater than the Trade Deficit in Goods with the same. Subtract the Deficit from the Surplus, and you still have a Net Surplus.
