I get the impression you don't understand how this whole economy thing actually works..
....The Wall will be paid for, directly or indirectly, or through longer term reimbursement, by Mexico, which has a ridiculous $71 billion dollar trade surplus with the U.S. The $20 billion dollar Wall is “peanuts” compared to what Mexico makes from the U.S. NAFTA is a bad joke!

This was exactly my original point. He keeps harping on trade deficits like they're a bad thing and even saying that the one with Mexico means they can afford to pay for the wall..??? None of it makes sense.

Ok understood but how does importing goods (products manufactured by over seas companies) help creat jobs in America? What we need is jobs. We don’t need big companies like Apple selling us iPhones that were manufactured by cheap over seas labor.

Producing cheap goods in Mex and China still creates jobs in the US. Bumping price of an iPhone would decrease sales and cut jobs in US. But the point I was making earlier is that having a trade deficit with Mex doesn't mean they have that money sitting there to pay for the wall.

Your statement is rediculous ! There is no statute of limitations for stealing a whole country and killing most of the people that owned the country. Indians were friendly until more and more and more people came onto their land and started building homes without permission.
