Guardian council role is to make sure the candidates follow the constitution & aren't spy,if a person doesn't have any legal issue then there won't be any problem.Later on those people will be elected by dir3ct vote. Again FYI, last election over 72% of people voted. Wake up man!

Thats your comment and perhaps your opinion, not the people, not the guardian council, and not the Islamic Republic. No one beleive that Hashemi was a spy nor Khatami or Ahmadinejad. In fact, that diversity is another reason there is democracy going on in Iran.
