The diversity visa program was and still is an excellent idea. Trump cult members see the word "diversity" and lose their damn minds.

It's impossible to grant Visas based on what future thoughts will come into anyone's minds. If it were, we could similarly watch gun buyers

That has not been the case with foreign born US terrorists. They were radicalized while here.

Not all of them & look at Europe plenty of them have shown up there radicalized only a matter of time before it becomes more common here

So maybe an examination of how they become radicalized is needed?

absolutely. Trump is defunded any such causes left and right. He prefers the reactionary, militarized approach.

Absolutely, I'm not defending NYC at all. GOP said after Vegas we shouldn't politicise a tragedy. Trump politicising NYC within minutes.

I agree with @JoeNBC. I wish we had a president who didn’t divide. At times like these, I wish we had a president who was a uniter.
