The US plants are extremely profitable for the german companies. Actually US itself is a very profitable market. If the germans would close would be simply better for the competition.
We have a MASSIVE trade deficit with Germany, plus they pay FAR LESS than they should on NATO & military. Very bad for U.S. This will change
