I can help. I'm Adjunct Professor at Trump Univ LWT Dept of Linguistics & Wordy Things. After GOP privatized language they turned it metric (& toxic). New 'streamlined' English includes the new 'double uncertainty' which creates an 'alternate fact' thus "Instead if" is certainty.
