Makes sense that Trump would support the one percenter chicken hawk over the military vet.
Senator McConnell has a similar military history to Trump. He spent 5 weeks training in the Army Reserves before getting out on a medical discharge of inflammation of the optic nerve. Either he couldn't see himself serving his country, or he didn't have the nerve to do it.
