I hope many people take you up on this. We need to get un-used opioids off the streets.

This opioid crack down is having a real adverse effect on people with chronic pain. They need to draw a line. Doctors are so afraid to give anyone something that will help them for fear of losing their licences and people who really need it are suffering.
-
True! Have you read the recent letters from the
#CDC which attempt to re-approve the use common sense prescription & use of#opioids for#pain? The CDC realizes that there are#legitimate and#necessary uses for opioids even in the "opioidcrisis".#CDCletter -
Exactly, common sense and responsible patients who use the pain meds legitimately. I fall in this category and still fighting for relief.

Start with the drug pushing pharmaceutical companies
-
I have diverticulitis and after a couple years I got the Dr to give me opioids and now the pain stays down so I can get a few things done ,but that;s only for a couple hours maybe and then I stop and set down for the rest of the day ,and now I arthritis on top of this ,
-
Same situation here. This one size fits all opioid do-goodery leaves out the fact that some of us w/chronic pain need controlled doses just to be functional. How'd that war on drugs work out? Same thing.
-
It is obvious that some people do need strong pain killers, but thd pharmaceutical companies are incentivizing doctors to unnecessarily prescribe iPods.
-
Maybe iPods would be good but I meant opioids
