If you are concerned about rising oil prices, cut government spending so the Fed can allow interest rates to rise and wont have to create as much money to buy Treasuries during the next recession. The reason oil prices are going much higher is that the dollar is going much lower.

Actually, it is due mainly to OPEC+ production cuts, topped by an "unplanned" shutdown of Saudis largest oil field, along with the Venezuela sanctions.
