I am pleased to announce that our very talented Deputy Secretary of Defense, Patrick Shanahan, will assume the title of Acting Secretary of Defense starting January 1, 2019. Patrick has a long list of accomplishments while serving as Deputy, & previously Boeing. He will be great!

He has NO talent for this critically important job. He doesn't have the experience or understanding to do this job that keeps us & our military safe. You push out the best man for the job & replace him w/ someone who isn't worthy to fetch water for Mattis.

Mattis should have spoken out about the Saudi’s dismembering a US resident/journalist. I lost all respect for him when he towed that party line.

Shanahan has been deputy for less than a year. He has NO military experience. He has NO government experience. This is a bottom of the barrel appointment that further weakens our military. You've made some very questionable appointments as POTUS but this is beyond stupid.

No he won't be great as a defense secretary. He would be great as a business advisor, but not as secretary of defense. Why don't you employ an origami expert in his place. Probably do a better job.
