US isnt the only country fighting ISIS (France, Turkey, Russia, Iran, the kurds...etc). Many of these country arent really allied. The biggest issue isnt how to annihilate ISIS, but how to prevent them from moving elsewhere and what to do with Syria once ISIS is defeated.

Bachar the dictator wants all of his country back, turkey wants to expand, kurds want a territory, iran and russians support bachar...etc It's a real mess and once isis will be completely destroyed that's gonna be complicated to sort that out without more conflicts.

And US isnt really great at that when you see what happend in Irak and Afghanistan... The fact is a lot of instabilities from this area of the world come from decades of US wars there and before that when England and France shaped these countries very badly in 1916.

Anyway there's nothing to be really proud of. For you as an american and for me as a french. We should be more shamefull. But yeah we still need to defeat ISIS we agree on that. But you have to thank Obama for that, not Trump who's doing terrible..

Woodward’s professionalism and integrity is being questioned because these people are scared. First time I’ve ever heard his name getting dragged through the mud actually (Wasn’t alive during watergate so I don’t know how he was perceived back then). Responding at all shows fear.
