Heck, why not stop reporting altogether? Speaking of which, what's going on with your tax returns that you promised to release after getting elected?
In speaking with some of the world’s top business leaders I asked what it is that would make business (jobs) even better in the U.S. “Stop quarterly reporting & go to a six month system,” said one. That would allow greater flexibility & save money. I have asked the SEC to study!

This is the exact issue I was afraid of when people boasted about DJT's business acumen. He never ran a public company and doesn't know a thing about being held accountable to the public. Quarterly reporting is a must to keep business accountable to share holders!

Shorter horizons...this has been studied already but not sure about job/econokic impact. I believe in corporate agility and longer horizons (6 month reports) does not make an org more agile.

But, it would free up the amount of burdensome time it takes to get it done. Most companies spend a lot of money, time and effort just doing taxes. 6 months would cut that, not necessarily in half but by a lot, freeing up more cash flow into doing business, not preparing taxes.
