FYI Undocumented immigrants that work under the table pay no taxes. Those taxes help pay for many different things. The jobs they are doing could go to people that are on welfare and unemployed. Regardless of political sides when people work under the table it hurts everyone

If you shutdown the gov, nothing will change for quite a while, checks will still go out, it would be quite a while before anyone noticed, but congress should not get paid a penny till they start doing a their job. Send their pay to pay off student loans
