Each country in the NATO alliance should be paying 2% of their annual GDP on defense. Not one country is close to paying that, other than the US (4%). That means the US is paying nearly 70% of all of NATO. NATO is much more important for Europe than the US as well.

You’re incorrect. Five NATO members, including Britain, currently meet the 2% target. In February this year the Sec Gen projected that over half would meet it in the next 10 years

Okay 5 out of 28 nations? Why about the other 23 including France and Germany? They’re clearly ripping us off.
