Asylum seekers can apply at the consulate or one of the LEGAL ports of entry. You don't just sneak across a country's border ILLEGALLY. What part of that don't you people understand???

In order to apply for asylum, you must be in the United States. You cannot apply at a consulate.

Perhaps, but there are 9 ports of entry they can legally enter through (south of the border) where they can apply for asylum.

Where exactly are those ports? Please provide exact locations of all nine ports. You expect people who just escaped their dangerous countries to know, so surly you must. Also take note trumps administration moved those ports.
