This happens everyday to American criminals too. What the hell are these people thinking traveling without proper transportation loddging for kids in the first place. The parents had these kids in worse conditions before arriving. Would you travel with your kids in this way?

My great grandparents and great great grandparents did, with no guarantee they'd be let into the US. So, speaking as someone whose family came that way, I can say not only would my family, but they in fact did just that.

My family came here & they didn't drag any innocent children w them. They informed themselves on what needed to be done legally & complied. The point here is, who is really putting these kids in this predicament not the US much less our President. Get it right

My family took their kids with them and their kids weren't taken from them when they reached here. This is a Trump policy choice - a change to prosecute them criminally, not civally, for the purpose of taking the kids to be a "deterrent." John Kelly was very clear about it.

@SecNielsen lied through her teeth when she denied this. There were no Walmarts filled with kids in what look to be dog kennels prior to Trump instigating zero-tolerance.
