Aye, that’s fair; I don’t know the exact details of this situation, so for all I know you’re right, I’ve just seen a lot of people get taken off for no reason and the excuse of it being a private company irks me to an extent, if that company claims to be fair and unbiased
oh yeah no, this guy deserved it. YouTube really fucked up with their last autoban wave, and they get it wrong sometimes, but this guy is a full on "race realist" who thinks black people have genetically low IQ and that there is a global banker (i.e. Jewish) conspiracy.
"this guy deserved it because his beliefs make me uncomfortable."
Because he's spreading hate and his continued access to a widespread platform causes demonstrable harm. But ok dude it's cos I'm scared of his craniometer
"Because he's spreading what I perceive as hate and his continued access to a widespread platform causes demonstrable harm, in my opinion."
i mean what was your point lmao that everything is subjective? that objective truth does not exist?
The problem with your position is no one can define "hate". A company might say it's typing the n-word on their platform, a country might decide it's an enticement to violence against a minority. In some countries it doesn't even figure into their legal lexicon.
...in the sense that nobody can provide one true definition for the word "hate"? Yes. This can be said of literally any word. Why does that matter at all for this argument?
