The difference between climate and weather is high school science. This is more political talking point than a legitimate question people genuinely want to know the answer to.

Just an FYI. last week when the Lower 48 was freezing with record lows up here in Anchorage it was +30's with rain.

It's willful ignorance. Just google, look on wikipedia for climate change: "includes both global warming and its effects, such as changes to precipitation, rising sea levels, and impacts that differ by region"

Why was it so hot early last week? It fascinates me that people concentrate on when it's super cold but ignore the bouts of super warm in between that often last even longer!
