If the Liberal Democrats are the only UK wide party explicitly Remain why didn’t they do better in the last (post referendum) election?

In short it was a combination of their stale politics, their rubbish & homophobic leader, and our electoral system being naturally disadvantageous to smaller parties.

Because it will crash their economy. That is why their prime minister resigned when people voted to exit. No one wants to take responsibility of destroying a nation
