Feel safe in London, knife attacks every week?
Sweden, grenade amnesty going on, car burnings, explosions?
Do you think more laws against illegal violence telling bad people not to do bad things will help, or allow self defense and lock up bad people ?

I'm from Canada, we hear of the shootings live, almost everyday. I have made a conscious promise to myself, never to set foot in the US. Sorry. I know some great people in your country, but a lot of you scare the crap out of me. And your 2nd amendment is from the dark ages

And it breaks my heart to tell you, as an American citizen, that you've probably made the right decision.

I don't. Not only the gun violence. But the acrimony, the political turmoil, the lies and hate spread by Trump against US allies, and what this implies in changes of attitude against travelers. My friends and I will go and "invade" other vacation destinations instead.

Of course not. I live here and I don’t feel safe. It’s asinine that we don’t have stricter gun laws.

Wouldn’t feel safe visiting. Actually, don’t even feel safe in CT and we have been fortunate to not have any shootings.

How quickly we forget. Sandy Hook Elementary, Newtown, CT, sound familiar?
