@nytimes Here I was thinking that their decision was to avoid giving actual voice to the dissemblers in the autocracy, to avoid directly being a propagandist bullhorn. And all the while, it was a syncophantic bow to the autocratic machine.

It was an on the record interview. It doesn’t matter what format you use it for. For 2 years your readers (and former subscribers) have questioned your integrity. This just solidified that there’s something rotten with the NYTs.

I assumed it was because people suddenly die exactly one week after listening to it.

For Halloween last year, my daughter went as a dinosaur. Of course, she wasnt really a dinosaur. Kinda like the NYT and journalism.

You have until the end of the day to put out the audio or you will lose lifelong subscribers in droves! Kowtowing to regime pressure will be the end to your stature as a news source, if not your paper in its entirety.

I cancelled my @nytimes subscription a while ago. I have repeatedly been shown that I made the right decision.
