Mary Jo Putney's Sunshine for Christmas. My fave novella ever abt a not super pretty governess and an aristo who is utterly average in his life accomplishments and abt 2nd chances.

This “pick one” business is just mean. The Governess Affair and A Kiss For Midwinter by Courtney Milan. Tikka Chance on Me by Suleikha Snyder!

A Kiss for Midwinter by Courtney Milan manages to fit all the emotion and backstory of a full length novel into a perfectly crafted novella.

A10/ Waiting for the Flood by Alexis Hall. Perfect example of how much you can find (big emotions, complex backstory, gorgeous extended metaphors) in very few pages.

A10/ I am totally cheating with two recs here. Waiting for the Flood by Alexis Hall, understated, quieter romance, somewhat melancholic and hopeful at the same time. Tikka Chance you Me by Suleikha Snyder - sexy, emotionally intense.

A10: One is impossible so I’m cheating. Dear Mona Lisa or Up by Al Stewart and Claire Davis; Waiting For the Flood by Alexis Hall; A Little Familiar by R. Cooper; The Rat-Catchers Daughter by KJ Charles

A10: Declaration of Courtship by Nalini Singh. It shows the beauty of Singh's writing and could be read as a standalone without having read the other books in the series. And it has the most beautiful story of a dominant wolf and submissive in the most dynamic way

A10/Hmmm. Sooo many to choose from! How about The Governess Affair by Courtney Milan or A Valentine Bride by Teresa DesJardien? And if you want one that is really wild and a horror romance to both (TW: dubcon), check out Strangeways by Addison Cain

A10 - Briarley by Aster Glenn Gray, Can't Escape Love by Alyssa Cole, and Wrapped by Rebekah Weatherspoon are all novellas I've enjoyed in the last few months that I haven't seen mentioned yet. (One is too hard!)

A10. Hope for the Holidays by because it's action packed and satisfying and feels like a full length novel all packed into a short novella

A5/ For sure more holiday novellas, especially for holidays that aren't Christmas. Anything I can consume the day of a holiday, even one I don't celebrate myself!
