    It’s weird to see American users sharing photos of getting second doses of vaccines, and reports of vaccine wastage because some nutcases don’t want to take it, while Indian users sharing the tragedy happening live back home 😢 fuck patenting vaccines! fuck US protectionism🖕🏽

    Is there a “Apple Retina display” like high PPI display in PC monitors that can display text as sharp as a MacBook Pro/iPhone? Use case is software dev. Gaming specific bells and whistles not needed.

    More people need to hear this. Of course all lives matter, but until all lives matter equally “black lives matter”!

    Wish companies would tell _why_ they rejected your job application without an interview instead of “unfortunately we decided not to proceed with your...”. It is demoralizing to someone who cared enough to send a custom cover letter explaining why they are a good fit.

    The new XPS 15 with 16:10 display @ 1920 X 1200, 32 GiB of RAM, 6 Core i7, and 512 GB NVMe seems to tick all my needs. It very well could replace my MBP and run Linux as a daily driver. 🤞for no big issues in reviews.

    If you’re working with Rust, Strings, C, read this. Well worth your time.

    I keep seeing this question come up: why does have `String` and `&str`? So we try to write a few C programs that handle text. And then a few Rust programs. And, eventually, I think we have our response. Please enjoy:
